Bristol Brazilians 3 - U11s 2

The game was scheduled to kick off at 10.30am but due to overnight frost it started at 11.00.

In the second minute the Brazilians has a corner and forcing Adam to make a brilliant save with his feet. The first goal came from a corner which was only partially cleared and The Brazilians reacted first and netted. Their second goal was a deflected long shot into the corner. Wickwar’s first came from a great passing football as they showed the Brazilians they would not give up and Matt put it past the goalkeeper.

In the second half Wickwar came out with real force and got their reward five minutes in, from a short corner which resulted in ‘Cooky’ scoring for the oranges. For the rest of the game Wickwar played stunning football. Stew and Sam proved indestructible as the Brazilians ran at them and the game could have gone either way. With only two minutes to go the Brazilians winner came against the run of play and Adam couldn’t quite reach the shot which was right in the corner of his goal. 

My man of the Match could have gone to anyone, a really strong team performance but for his efforts in keeping us in the Game at the start, it goes to Adam.
