Fundraising Committee

Over the past several years a small group of dedicated committee members have organised the fundraising for Wickwar Wanderers Football Club, assisted by volunteers as individual events. This committee has been extremely successful in that not only has it run many events (Comedy Nights, Football Frolics, Quizzes, Raffles, Sponsored Dribbles, "Lottery" tickets, Scratch cards...) but has also successfully raised thousands of pounds to help keep the club running.

As the club moves forward with an increasingly active Junior and Youth section the Committee has met to review its structure - with the main aims being to continue the excellent fundraising, whilst spreading the workload. To this end we are looking at maintaining a committee that has an overview of all of the fundraising events, whilst identifying specific people to take a lead in particular events.
Already elected on to the committee (which will meet (when required) for 30 minutes before the main WWFC Committee Meetings on the second Tuesday of the month) are:

• Ginny Thompson

The various events that the club currently runs over the season are listed below. As you can see several items have already been taken up by specific individuals.
