Once again, Wickwar started slowly and it took them a while to get into their stride.  In fact, Quedgeley were on the attack from the start but our defence stood firm and resolute.  Believe it or not, the Quedgeley Goalie did not touch the ball for the first 16 minutes.  Wickwar then clicked into gear and under tremendous pressure Quedgeley conceded a penalty when Andy was brought down.  He scored from the spot on the 20th minute.

We relaxed a bit and Quedgeley got the equaliser on the 42th minute.

Wickwar started off in great style after the break and Tom scored with a powerful header in the 50th minute.  Once again we eased up and Quedgeley drew level in the 60th minute.

Wickwar stepped up a gear again and put Quedgeley under constant pressure and were rewarded with a well taken coal by Will in the 65th minute.

We were treated to wave after wave of attacking football by Wickwar and it finally paid off when Harry got the goal he deserved on the 85th minute.

We were unlucky not to have scored more but the game ended with a satisfying victory for Wickwar by four goals to two. A much better performance by our boys bearing in mind our last outing with this team when we were missing a few players and despite having a good game showed a lack lustre performance in places.
