DAN THOMAS – MC

Welsh comic Thomas has been performing stand up for five years. He was a finalist in the first annual Route One Welsh Unsigned Stand Up competition and won the 2010 South Wales Dog Eat Dog contest. He has toured with Russell Kane on his last 2 national tours and is a favourite at festivals around the UK.

Mark Simmons

Delivering an inventive stream of one-liners, Simmons is quickly establishing himself as a young comic to watch. With quirky quips and slow-burners that take a second or two, his understated style is intelligent and well received by more discerning comedy goers. “Positive, warm hearted comedy firmly rooted in stand up and not whimsy.” Julia Chamberlain – Highlight Comedy Clubs. “You were fantastic.” – Tim Vine.

CHRIS TURNER

Intelligent wordplay and deliciously dark jokes nestle amongst a set rich with puns and oblique observations, all coupled with a talent for improvisation and physical comedy honed from three years with Edinburgh Festival favourites The Oxford Imps. “A nifty writer…absolute gold-plated bankers, brilliantly inspired lines even the most experienced punslinger would be proud of.” (Chortle)

DANNY WARD

Headliner Ward delivers a fast-paced set which has been earning him accolades around the UK: “Danny Ward’s observational humour is brilliantly delivered … This is top quality stand up … I implore you to go and see it!” (Three Weeks, 4 stars, Edinburgh Festival 2010). “Danny clicked with the capacity crowd immediately and his brilliantly-timed, slightly manic approach was bolstered by some really tight, strong material. His often hilarious riffs created a thread that worked brilliantly throughout, with a killer ending”. (Bournmouth Echo, 2010). “Danny Ward was BRILLIANT last week!” (Bearcat Comedy, London 2011). “It was however the nights headliner, Danny Ward, who stole the show …. An outstanding headliner that finished the show off on a real high” (Barnfield Theatre Exeter – Feb 2012).
