A close game, and whilst the home team fully deserved the win the score line was not a true reflection of the game. Against a side in the league above, we missed a penalty and hit the woodwork twice in addition to a number of other close chances.
The game was even, but the home-side showed experience and maturity against a young side with multiple players missing, and this coupled with much more clinical finishing proved to be the difference on the day. McAdam fully deserved the win. A great goal from Max Minter and a powerful header from Keiran Spary were the highlights, along with a battling display from 16 year old Ellis Cox who really stood out in the second half.
